The Airborne Network will act as a notice board for such Airborne related activities as are notified to it by RHQ PARA and any regular or reserve Airborne unit. Those who register with the Network will receive, via email, news and information from the Airborne Community.

Pathfinder Parachute Group Poppy Drop

A group of supporters is planning a mass parachute drop from Dakotas and a drop of thousands of poppies over the Arnhem DZ to commemorate the 65th anniversary in 2009. This will raise money for the Royal British Legion and Airborne Assault. There will be a trial run at Arnhem in September 2008.

Palace Barracks Memorial Garden

A quiet corner of a Holywood Army base has become a poignant place of pilgrimage for the bereaved families of security force personnel killed in the Troubles and other conflicts around the world.
The foundations for the memorial garden in Palace Barracks were laid in 1994.The memorial stones themselves are all made from South Africa granite.Garden and website are maintained on a voluntary basis. The custodian and webmaster are both former soldiers.
