Dubai Auction Dinner

Supporter Surefire Logistics held a highly successful dinner auction in Dubai to raise funds for the Airborne Assault Appeal and Help for Heroes. The event, organised by Richard Donnellan, took place at The Montgomerie Golf Course, Dubai on Friday 26th September.

After drinks, Major General Dair Farrar-Hockley MC, Chairman of Trustees, attending through the kind donation of a flight by Emirates Airlines, gave an overview of the museum, our progress towards opening and the fundraising target for Phase 3.

A three course dinner was served with unlimited wines and beers. Victor Ubogu, former England and rugby star was the after dinner speaker.

An auction of lots included rare signed airborne related prints by Terence Cuneo, Rupert Godesen and David Shepherd amongst others, as well as books signed by Patrick Bishop, General Sir Mike Jackson and Nasser Hussain. Sporting memorabilia and unique experiences included a tandem drop with the Red Devils, a day with The Parachute Regiment, Paintball tickets and a business class return flight to London.
