Airborne Assault Duxford
The new Museum of The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces will be located at Duxford in partnership with the Imperial War Museum.
The first phase will see the Airborne Forces Museum collections relocated from Aldershot and newly installed in a dedicated facility in the state-of-the-art AirSpace building at Duxford where they will be presented through multi-media displays.
The physical archive of the Museum will also be re-housed separately at the site.
PLANNED OPENING FOR BOTH ELEMENTS IS IN LATE AUTUMN 2008
The Airborne Forces Museum at Aldershot is now closed. With regret, due to the extensive work involved in cleaning, restoration and packing prior to our move to Duxford, we are unable to answer archive queries.
